Junior Playing Rules

23.1 These rules and conditions of this document will also govern all competitions run by the Central Coast Baseball Association Junior Committee, including summer and winter. They should be read in conjunction with the playing rules and procedures of the CCBA, and the Official Rules of Aussie T-Ball or LLI. Where there is conflict, Junior rules composed by CCBA at the commencement of the current season will take precedence.

23.2 Home team on the draw is responsible for setting up the bases

23.4 At all change of innings, coaches must encourage quick change overs to speed up the game.

23.5 In all junior competition games, each team shall utilise a continuous batting lineup, requiring all players listed on the team’s lineup card to bat in order, regardless of whether or not they are currently occupying a defensive position.

23.6 A player playing up into an older age group team may only take the field defensively once all rostered players on that team who are present at the game have played a minimum of six (6) defensive outs and completed at least one (1) plate appearance (official at bat or walk).
