Questions from Members

Q. What is the deadline for team nominations?

A. Per previous minutes and other communications, team nominations are due tonight 29/9. Players may continue to register, but must be registered prior to taking the field. Players should be entered into GameChanger by the 12th of October to ensure games run smoothly on the 19th.

Q. When does GameChanger have to be entered by, if only scoring from a book?

A. Results must be published to GameChanger by 5PM Monday after the game has concluded. Games must be scored for U12 and U15 at a minimum. We would encourage scoring for Tball and Coach Pitch as well as a way to encourage additional volunteer involvement in the sport, and to ensure people are ready to score by the time they become involved at Little League.

Q. Coaching Accreditation Courses?

A. Being an accredited coach is a personal responsibility, and has been the case for decades. Providing coaching instruction without a proper accreditation is a liability risk for the individual and the club as they won’t be covered by Baseball Austraila’s insurance policies. Level A is suitable for TBall and Coach Pitch, with Level B being the minimum for U12 and U15. Please make sure that coaches are accredited and registered in Gameday accordingly.
