Speed Up Rule
|
With two out, when a Player who is on the line-up as catcher in the batting team achieves a
position safe on base, the catcher/runner may be replaced by either the last out, or last runner to have scored.
|
- No new innings should commence from 12.05PM onwards.
- Home team on the draw is responsible for setting up the bases
- Home team on draw to provide umpire if no umpire available.
- At all change of innings, coaches must encourage quick change overs to speed up the game.
- Teams must have at least six (6) of their own teams players to be considered a competition game. Borrowed players are allow to play a "scrimmage" game but the result will be recorded as a 6-0 ‘forfeit’ score to the opposition.
- Coaches are to encourage batters to be aggressive in the box
- The Home Team is responsible for scoring the game using GameChanger. The Away Team is encouraged to also score, sitting with the Home Team Scorer, using a scoring book.
- No player may pitch and then catch, or catch and then pitch, on the same calendar day.
- Pitchers once removed from the mound may not return as a pitcher in that game or any other game on that day.
- Pitcher can play any other position (except catcher) if 50 or under is pitched
- If player throws 51-65 pitchers, player can only play 1st or 2nd base in that game or any other game on that day.
- Maximum pitches to be thrown is 95. If player throws 66-95 pitchers, player must be removed from the game and can not play in any other game on that day
- Any rules not covered above will be as per Little League Baseball International Rules for Senior League Division.
